TyperBot (the "Service"), including the typerbot.app website and the TyperBot desktop app, is operated by Quasar Technologies LLC, a Maryland limited liability company ("we", "us"). These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Quasar Technologies LLC. By creating an account, starting a free trial, subscribing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you may use it only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for any purchases. You must give accurate information when you create your account.
You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away at support@typerbot.app if you think someone else has accessed it.
Each person may have one account. Creating extra accounts to get additional free trials or to get around a suspension is not allowed.
New customers can try TyperBot Pro free for 7 days. To start the trial you choose a plan and enter a payment card through our payment processor, Stripe. You are not charged when the trial starts.
Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically when the trial ends and your card is charged the plan price shown at checkout (currently $9.99 per month or $59.99 per year, plus any applicable tax), and it then renews automatically as described below. The exact trial end date is shown at checkout and in your account, and we email you a reminder before the trial ends. If you cancel during the trial, you will not be charged.
One free trial per person. Free trials are for new customers only. To enforce this we look at signals such as the computer the desktop app runs on, the network you connect from, and the payment card used (see our Privacy Policy). If we determine that a trial is being started by someone who has already had one, for example on another account, on the same computer or with the same card, we may decline the trial (you can still subscribe at the regular price) or cancel the trial. When we cancel a trial for this reason you are not charged for it.
TyperBot Pro is a subscription. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you choose) and your payment method is charged the then-current price until you cancel. By starting a trial or subscribing, you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method on that basis.
If we change the price of your plan, we will tell you by email before the change applies to you, and you can cancel before it takes effect. For yearly plans we send a reminder before each renewal. If a payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend Pro features until it succeeds.
You can cancel at any time, online, in a few clicks: sign in at typerbot.app/account and choose Manage subscription, then Cancel. You can also cancel by emailing support@typerbot.app from the address on your account.
Cancelling stops all future charges. If you cancel during a free trial, you are not charged. If you cancel a paid subscription, you keep Pro access until the end of the period you already paid for, and you are not charged again.
Every plan comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee: if you are not satisfied, email support@typerbot.app within 30 days of your first paid charge (the first charge after any free trial) and we will refund that charge in full. Outside that window, payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits any refund rights you have under applicable law.
TyperBot types text that you provide into other applications. You are responsible for how you use it. You agree not to:
It is your responsibility to follow the academic-integrity, workplace and platform policies that apply to you. We are not responsible for consequences of using the Service in a way those policies do not allow.
While your account is in good standing we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the TyperBot desktop app on computers you own or control. The app updates itself automatically to keep it working and secure. TyperBot, its software, design and content belong to Quasar Technologies LLC; these Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you. Text you type with TyperBot remains yours, and the desktop app does not send it to us.
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting support@typerbot.app. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms (including trial abuse or payment fraud), with notice where practical. If we close your account without cause, we will refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or undetectable by any third-party tool, or that it will work with every application.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quasar Technologies LLC and its members, employees and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Quasar Technologies LLC from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing a claim, please contact us at support@typerbot.app so we can try to resolve it informally. Any dispute that is not resolved will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Maryland, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction; either of us may instead bring an eligible claim in small-claims court. If you are a consumer, you keep any protections given to you by the laws of the place you live.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the date above, and for material changes we will also notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, cancel and stop using the Service.
